An easier way to view and change iTunes track ratings

Are you one of those iTunes users who has to have everything cataloged perfectly including all the star ratings for your songs?

If so, I Love Stars is for you because it shows the rating of iTunes tracks currently playing in the menu bar. The advantage of this is that all your songs have a rating, and it prevents you having to go through the tedious process of switching back and forth from iTunes and rating songs with iTunes dock menu.

In the top-right of your Mac's menu bar, you'll see the number of stars displayed, and if you click here you'll see the name of the song being played. Mainly it's there to show the rating but you can drag the stars rating with the mouse to highlight and deselect the number of stars you give it. You can also rate songs using only half stars.

It's not an essential iTunes add-on by any means but if you really can't stand your songs not having a star rating, you will love I Love Stars.

You can now rate songs stored in iCloud. Fixed a bug where two tracks were rated sometimes. Performance improvements when dealing with huge iTunes libraries. I Love Stars now runs in a sandboxed environment to provide more security.
